My Youtube Channel...

Well, I did it!! I posted my first video on Youtube. I am so proud of myself! I have NO CLUE what I am doing but I am excited to figure it out. I hope you all can join me in this journey and hopefully together we can create a community where we can share and learn and grow. I am excited to take this next step, YAY!!

A New Beginning -"Hona's Helpful Hints" is now "Hona's Home"

Why hello there!! 

I've dusted off this old blog, given it a fresh coat of paint, and have re-branded it. A lot has happened since I stopped blogging back in 2011. I can't believe it's been that long!! I blame Facebook. It was so much easier to share a quick post or photo then it was to write out an entire blog post. I look at the success other moms who didn't give up blogging and I really am kicking myself. Ya know,  life happens and I put this blog on the back burner. But, I am in a new season of my life and I am ready to get back at it!! I have so much more lived experience to share. I have had two more children and my beloved mother passed away from Cancer. We bought a house and transitioned out of homeschooling. I've started 2 tiny businesses, a crafting booth I run at our local farmer's markets and regional bazaars and a Home Organization Business. It's been a very full season and I can't wait to dive in and share what I've experienced, what I've learned, and how excited I am about my future! 

I have a facebook page. I'd love for you to follow and am starting a Youtube Channel! I am absolutely terrified to get in front of the camera so I know it's what I should be doing next. My content will be centered around what I do at home. I craft, parent five girls, run our family budget, organize our spaces, and cook a whole lotta food! I also volunteer in my community. I am a member of a local Coalition that focuses on substance abuse prevention in our schools and community, I am also a member of my small town's Improvement Club. We work on improving and beautifying our town. We have lots of fun activities throughout the year such as an Easter egg hunt and a Christmas tree lighting event. This year I am also Chair of our town's Halloween festival's Children's day! 

My days are filled with doing the things I love. I am incredibly blessed to be able to use my time to help my community and serve my family. I am hoping this relaunch and rebranding will help me to reach a greater audience. Thanks for coming along on this new adventure with me!
